  • Saint Leo and Tampa meet for the 93rd time on the volleyball court Tuesday. The Spartans hold a commanding 86-6 record in the all-time series but five of the Lions' six wins have come in the last eight matches against the Spartans. Tampa snapped a four-match win streak by the Lions in the series in the first meeting of the 2018 season while the Lions snapped Tampa's three-match win streak earlier this season.
  • Saint Leo currently ranks 15th in NCAA Division II for hitting percentage this season at .257. Senior Anilise Fitzi ranks 38th individually in the category at .362.

  • Saint Leo senior Victoria Omoregie sits just 13 kills away from a historic milestone as she can become just the seventh Lion all-time to reach 1,000 career kills. She will join Hope Lemon (2013-16), the most recent Lion to achieve the feat, and five others on the prestigious list.
  • Tampa enters Tuesday's match riding a nine-match win streak including sweeping its most recent three opponents at the GSC/SSC Crossover. The Spartans two conference losses have come at home to Saint Leo and on the road at Barry.
  • Katie McKiel leads the Spartans with 274 kills this season. Mackenzie Dufresne and Kamari Potter lead the defense at the net as they have 48 and 46 total blocks, respectively, while Nicole Dominguez has dug up a team best 281 balls.

  • Currently, Saint Leo sits sixth among the Sunshine State Conference standings just below Tampa in the fourth slot.
  • The Saint Leo men's soccer team's high scoring streak was put to a halt Saturday night at No. 7 Florida Tech. In the Lions previous two matches, the Green and Gold compiled five goals but came up empty against the nationally-ranked SSC foes; 3-0.
