MELBOURNE, Fla. – Facing off against conference foe Florida Tech for the second time this season, the Saint Leo men's swimming team dominated the Panthers in route to a 159-103 victory. Saint Leo won 10 events while sweeping the podium four times on the afternoon.

Hampus Lovinge and graduate student
Yann Corbel led the Lions as they each captured two individual victories while Dahrendorff and Lovinge teamed up to help win the opening relay. The pair joined up with freshman
Matthew Daniel and junior
Michael Southward to win the 200 medley relay in 1:32.93 to set the tone for the afternoon.
Lovinge went on to win the 100 backstroke and 200 individual medley as well. He took the back in 51.80 before topping the field in the IM in 1:56.65. he led a trio of Lions in the IM as they swept the podium. Freshman
Filip Bjorkholm took second in 1:57.25 while Dahrendorff added to his day with a third place showing in 2:00.39.
Dahrendorff controlled the pool in the breaststroke as he won both the 100 and 200 races. He took the 100 in 56.25 before touching in 2:07.26 in the 200.
The first individual victory for the Lions on the day came in the form of an NCAA "B" standard time in the 1000 freestyle as Corbel led a sweep of the podium for the Lions in 9:32.81. Sophomore
Nic Petruska took second in 10:09.64 while junior
Matija Rafaj placed third in 10:17.41. Corbel's second victory was also a sweep as he, Rafaj and Petruska took the 500 freestyle. Corbel touched in 4:39.62 while Rafaj took second in 4:42.98 and Petruska stopped the clock in 4:54.89 to take third.
Rafaj followed up the performance with a win in the 200 freestyle as he touched in 1:43.25 to lead the field.
Saint Leo picked up its second sweep of the day in the 200 butterfly as Bjorkholm led the way in 1:50.48. Daniel took second in 1:54.43 followed by junior
Logan Lamb in 2:00.15.
Junior
Luka Vulic and Southward raced to a one-two finish in the 100 freestyle with Vulic stopping the clock in 47.09 followed by Southward in 47.31.
The Lions will be back in action this Friday, February 1 at 3 p.m. as they host Rollins in the regular season finale. The Lions will honor their two seniors prior to the start of the meet.
