Competed in four individual events and three relays at the 2020 Sunshine State Conference Championships … took seventh in the 500 freestyle, 10^th in the 1650 freestyle, 18^th in the 1000 freestyle and 20^th in the 200 freestyle … helped the Lions capture 13th in both the 200 and 400 freestyle relays and 14^th in the 800 freestyle relay.

Three-time CSCAA All-American (800 Free Relay, 1000 Free, 1650 Free (HM))… Sunshine State Conference Second Team All-Conference… SSC Swimmer of the Week (1/29)… competed in three individual events and one relay at the 2018 NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships… part of the fifth place 800 freestyle relay… took seventh in the 1000 freestyle, 11^th in the 1650 freestyle and 24^th in the 500 freestyle… competed in four individual events and two relays at the Sunshine State Conference Championships… won the 500 freestyle and placed second in the 1000 freestyle… posted a fifth place finish in the 1650 freestyle and placed 13^th in the 200 freestyle… member of the second place 800 freestyle relay and the 13^th place 400 freestyle relay.

CAREER
Transferred to Saint Leo from NAIA-member Lindenwood University-Belleville (Ill.)… named Mid-South Conference Men’s Swimmer of the Year and Men’s Swimming Freshman of the Year honors in 2017, after winning the 500 Free, 200 Free, and swimming the anchor leg for Lindenwood-Belleville’s winning team in the 800 Free Relay… led Lindenwood-Belleville to the 2017 MSC men’s swimming championship… earned CSCAA NAIA All-America honors.

PERSONAL
Born November 4 in Sisak, Croatia… chose Saint Leo for the quality of its swim team… would like to open his own business some day… son of Marko and Barbara Rafaj… has one sister, Klara Ana.
