SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo University men's basketball head coach
Vince Alexander and the Lions announce the 2018-19 schedule, featuring 12 home games inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The Green and Gold will host a two-day tournament on Nov. 16 and 17.

The Lions will host an exhibition game on Nov. 3 as part of the University's homecoming weekend before traveling to Rice on Nov. 6 for another exhibition.

Saint Leo travels to Tampa to participate in the Sunshine State Conference vs Gulf South Conference Challenge where the Green and Gold open up the 2018-19 season against Alabama-Huntsville at 5:30 p.m. on Nov. 10. The Lions close out the SSC vs GSC Challenge against Montevallo on Nov. 11 at 5:30 p.m.

Home action kicks off on Nov. 16 and 17 when the Lions host three other teams for a two-game round robin Saint Leo Classic. Saint Leo welcomes in SSC foe Tampa as well as Auburn-Montgomery and West Florida. The Green and Gold take the court inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center for the first time at 7:30 p.m. on the night of the 16th.

After a trip to Florida Southern for the FSC Thanksgiving Classic on Nov. 23 and 24 where the Lions take on Stonehill and Merrimack, respectively, the Lions kick off SSC competition with a trip to Eckerd on Nov. 28 at 7:30 p.m.

Following SSC games at Palm Beach Atlantic (Dec. 1) and against Nova Southeastern (Dec. 8), the Lions travel back to Hampton, Va., to take on Hampton for an exhibition game before the FSC Christmas Classic in Lakeland, Fla. At the Christmas Classic, the Green and Gold take on Bloomfield and Cedarville before the holiday break.

Saint Leo closes the book on 2018 with a home game against Rollins at 4 p.m. on Dec. 29.

The Green and Gold open 2019 with two-straight road trips, at Lynn (Jan. 2) and at Embry-Riddle (Jan. 5). Saint Leo hosts Florida Tech (Jan. 9), Barry (Jan. 19), Palm Beach Atlantic (Jan. 26) and Eckerd (Jan. 30) in the month of January where the Lions travel to Tampa (Jan. 16) and Florida Southern (Jan. 23).

The month of February sees the Lions host four teams with three road trips. Saint Leo travels to Rollins (Feb. 2), Nova Southeastern (Feb. 9), and Florida Tech (Feb. 13) while the Green and Gold welcome Lynn (Feb. 6), Embry-Riddle (Feb. 16), Tampa (Feb. 20) and Florida Southern (Feb. 27) to the Marion Bowman Activities Center.
