CHARLOTTE, N.C. –  Senior
Colett Rampf of the Saint Leo track team finished out her outstanding collegiate career Saturday night at the 2018 NCAA Division II Track & Field Championships. Rampf, who holds numerous Saint Leo University program records, finished out her senior season with a 17
th place finish in the 5,000m Saturday evening in Charlotte, N.C.

Rampf once again made a late push and moved up two spots on the final few laps to complete the distance in 17:30.12. Caroline Kurgat of Alaska Anchorage won the event with a time of 16:22.62 while Alicja Konieczek of Western State took second and Leah Hanle from Mount Olive rounded out the top three.

Rampf ends her Saint Leo career as one of the most decorated track athletes in school history and will walk away holding eight school records in track and four in cross country. She was a four-time outdoor track All-American including last night's third place finish in the 3,000m steeplechase.
