- The Lions picked up two road wins last week with a 58-53 win at Tampa followed by a 74-72 come-from-behind win at Florida Tech. In the win at Florida Tech, Daniel Duarte scored a career-high 22 points as Drago Popovic picked up his first career double-double with 16 points and 11 rebounds.
- On the year, Junior Searcy leads the team in scoring, 12.2 points per game, and is third in rebounding at 4.5 rebounds per game. Searcy remains in second in total blocks with 19, trailing Pape Ngom at 22.
- Nova Southeastern travels to Saint Leo on a two-game win streak, holding a 14-6, 8-6 SSC record on the year. The Sharks defeated Embry-Riddle 89-65 in their recent outing. Four players scored in double-figures led by David Dennis and Malik Hardy, who each scored 19 points.
