#8 Men's Golf Notes

Saint Leo men's golf heads back to the links after taking ninth at the Matlock Invitational on Feb. 13 with a 860 (-4) team score.
Riley Goss led the team at the tournament with a 211 (-5) after shooting scores of 68, 70 and 73, respectively.

#10 Softball Notes

No. 10 Softball will be entering Tuesday's doubleheader with a 12-3, 4-2 SSC record after sweeping Florida Tech this past weekend.
After fighting in a pitcher's duel Friday night, senior Alison Mitts came in for relief duties in game one of Saturday's game. Over the series Mitts threw 10.2 innings allowing just six hits whiling striking out 12.
Ashley Morris leads the team in batting average at .451. On the weekend against the Panthers, Morris went 5-for-11 from the plate. Kacie Kelly leads the team in runs, doubles, RBIs, and walks.
Alison Mitts has pitched well in her 46.2 innings logged for the Green and Gold. She stands at 6-0 with 47 strikeouts in nine appearances in the circle.
Flagler is coming in with a 10-5 record and sweeping their doubleheader versus Erskine on Saturday 14-6 and 5-2.
Morgan Murphy has carried the offensive load for the Saints hitting six home runs and bringing in 19 RBIs while hitting .444 from the box.
Katlyn McCue has been the Saints' workhorse as she has logged 56.2 innings pitched and during that time she has posted a 6-3 record, going the distance in seven of those games.
