SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's basketball drops regular season finale to Rollins 81-66 inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The Lions honored seniors Drago Popovic, Tyreece Brice and Gary Hector.
 
Drago Popovic played 18 minutes and scored five points while snagging nine rebounds on his final game on the Bowman Center court.
 
Junior Searcy led the Lions with 19 points where DeAndre King tallied 17.

How It Happened…
1H | After Rollins made the first three to start things off with 19:07 to play, both the Lions and Tars played even until the 14:49 mark when Rollins claimed a 10-8 lead. Saint Leo would use the long ball to go on a 13-0 run for an 11-point lead with three's from DeAndre King and Junior Searcy, Lions lead 21-10 with 12:09 to play. The Tars climbed back to regain the lead, 28-27 with 3:40 to play. Saint Leo and Rollins would play neck-and-neck over the final 3:39 before the Tars took a one-point lead at the break. Saint Leo went 6-for-15 from beyond the arc with a 2-for-4 mark from the charity stripe. Rollins' 6-for-8 mark from the free throw line was the difference maker in the first half. | Rollins 35-34 |
 
2H | Rollins came out of the break and used a quick 6-2 run to extend its halftime gap to 41-36 with 17:19 to play. The Lions tied things up at 44-44 with 15:48 to play on a DeAndre King layup. Saint Leo tied it once again and took a one-point lead at 48-47 on two Junior Searcy free throws. The Tars would regain the lead going on a 11-3 run to go ahead by seven, 58-51 with 11:04 to play. A minute late, Rollins would push its lead to 10, 61-51. Rollins would claim a 77-58 lead before the Lions cut it to 15 with 18-ticks left on a Daniel Duarte layup. | Rollins 81-66 |

• Castaneda finished with eight rebounds to pace Rollins.
