Baseball Notes
- The Lions are coming off an 8-5 win over Eckerd College in a non-conference game on Tuesday evening. The five-run eighth inning was enough offensive firepower to lift them over the Tritons.
- In the most recent NCBWA poll, Saint Leo saw votes thanks to their 6-2 start.
- Lions will be playing in their first three day series as both Saint Leo and Lynn agreed to have three games in three days in compliance with the new conference rules.
- The 7-2 Lions have been lead offensively by their junior catch, Brett Coffel. Coffel will be coming into the weekend with a .389 batting average, three home runs, and 10 RBIs to his credit.
- The senior right-hander, Jordan Pendelton, leads the Lions with 16.1 innings pitched and over that span he has struckout 14 batters in addition to posting a 3.31 ERA.
- Peyton Isaacson continues to deal from the bullpen appearing in five games, recording five saves, while striking out seven batters.
- Lynn is coming with a 7-4 record after the most recent 17-13 win over Eastern Michigan in the South Florida Showdown on Tuesday.
- Gabe Martinez leads the team in qualified batting average at .417, while teammates Willie Seay and Patrick Dorrian have nine home runs and 28 RBIs collectively.

Softball Notes
- No. 10 Softball gets some home cooking as they take on Florida Tech. The Lions enter the series at 9-3 where the Panthers are 7-6.
- Saint Leo is coming off a tough trip where they dropped two of three versus Rollins College. Florida Tech hits the road for the first time in 12 days as they are coming off a two game sweep against Flagler College 5-2, 4-3.
- The 9-3 record posted by the Lions was good enough to jump them to 10th in the NFCA poll that came out on February 21.
- Kacie Kelly continues to pace the Lions offensively, but junior Ashley Morris, is only .013 batting average points behind Kelly for tops of the team.
- Alison Mitts is a perfect 5-0 in the circle for the Lions where she has struckout 35 batters over 36 innings.
- For Florida Tech, Vanessa Rubio leads the team in batting average, doubles, home runs, and RBIs.
- Melanie Murphy has been the Panthers workhorse pitching 43.2 innings and posting a 3-3 record. The Melbourne native has given up 37 hits, 11 earned runs, and six walks while striking out 25.

Women's Tennis Notes
- The No.24 Saint Leo women's tennis team dropped a 5-4 decision to No. 17 Florida Southern on Wednesday at the Saint Leo Tennis Center. The tight loss lowered Saint Leo's overall record to 3-1, 1-1 in the Sunshine State Conference.
- First double partners Marta Vicens Miquel and Maja Pindelska took the only win for Saint Leo in doubles play; 8-6.
- Kristyna Jurkova won second singles 6-3, 6-4 while Madeleine Gauthier won fourth singles 6-3, 6-3 and Fabiola Cardenas won fifth singles in three sets; 2-6, 6-1, 6-3.
- No. 2 Barry will play Stetson in Deland, Fla. on Friday before heading to the Saint Leo Tennis Center on Saturday. Currently 6-0, 4-0 SSC, the Bucs have won 32 of its 35 completed singles matches this season.

Women's Lacrosse Notes
- Saint Leo's convincing 17-3 win over the University of Colorado Colorado Springs last weekend raised the Lions' overall record to 2-0.
- Leslie Ferguson scored a hat trick and two assists. Kaylah Walstad tallied two goals, three assists while Delaney Chrisco earned three goals, picked up two ground balls and won three draw controls. Erin Davis and Rebecca Halley shared the goalkeeper responsibilities.
- On the season, Ferguson has scored seven goals, four assists and picked up six ground balls. Sarah Pierson leads the team's ground ball count with eight. Pierson has scored four goals and won 11 draw controls. Erin Davis enters the game with a 2-0 goalkeeper record with 10 saves.
- Davenport will start its regular season at Saint Leo after completing two scrimmages. The Panthers are coming off a 15-3 overall season, 13-1 in the WHAC. The return senior defender/midfielder Maeve Sweeney, and sophomore Ryann Deuel. Sweeney led the 2-17 team in ground balls (43) and caused turnovers (38). Deuel tallied 39 ground balls, 25 caused turnovers and a school record 157 draw controls.
- The two teams have not met in the last ten years of competition. Â

Women's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo dropped a 70-45 decision at Eckerd College on Wednesday. The loss ended Saint Leo's perfect streak in February, earning four consecutive wins.
- Alani Gallagher led Saint Leo's offense with 13 points. Gina Brierley grabbed five rebounds to lead the Lions off the glass.
- On the season, Gallagher averages 9.2 points per game while shooting 45.5% and grabbing 5.9 rebounds per game.
- Sitting ninth in the Sunshine State Conference, Saint Leo must defeat Rollins, currently eighth in the SSC standings, to clinch the eighth seed and advance to the conference postseason.
- Rollins visits the Marion Bowman Activities Center looking to snap a two game losing streak after facing Nova Southeastern (75-66) and Eckerd (79-62) last week. The Tars enjoyed a bye on Wednesday.
- On the season, Julia Ingler averages 13.7 points per game shooting 38.5%. Vernisha Andrews averages 8.4 rebounds per game for the Tars.

Men's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo enters the weekend with a 12-18, 8-11 mark in the SSC after its most recent loss at Eckerd.
- The Lions will look to end on a high note as Rollins College comes to town on senior night. Saint Leo will be honoring three seniors, Tyreece Brice, Drago Popovic, and Gary Hector.
- Saint Leo finds themselves in a 'win and get in' situation for the SSC tournament as Florida Tech is just one game back.
- Isaiah Hill leads the team in points per game (12.4) and rebounds per game with (5.1).
- February has not been good for Rollins College as they are still looking for their first win this month. The Tars are coming in with a six-game losing streak with their last loss also coming at the hands of Eckerd.
- The senior class continues to lead the Tars in scoring with Sam Philpott, Jeff Merton, and Deion Clark putting up 18.7, 16.0, and 11.3 points per game.

Men's Lacrosse Notes
- The No. 19 Saint Leo men's lacrosse team's third quarter rally, led by junior attacker Charlie Kurtenbach, elevated the Lions 15-10 over Young Harris College on Friday night.
- Charlie Kurtenbach's hat trick to open the third quarter overcame the halftime one goal deficit. The offensive rally allowed Saint Leo to retain the lead for the remainder of the game. Thomas Tatarian racked up 11 saves in another 60 -minutes of action protecting Saint Leo's net.
- On the season, Kurtenbach has scored 14 goals, two assists meanwhile Jake Gilmour has racked up 18 points from eight goals, 10 assists.
- Jordan Williams has earned 13 ground balls and enters the game with a .526 faceoff percentage.
- Ethan Ticehurst has picked up 10 ground balls followed by Julian Taylor and Gilmour with eight.
- No. 8 NYIT holds a 1-1 overall record after meeting No. 11 Mercyhurst (W, 16-9) and No. 1 Merrimack (L, 16-14).
- On the season, LeRoy Halftown has 10 points, scoring six goals, four assists. Amar Shlomo has tallied 21 ground balls with a 54.2 faceoff percentage.
