SAINT LEO, Fla. –  Saint Leo women's basketball dropped a 70-45 decision at Eckerd College on Wednesday. The loss ends Saint Leo's perfect streak in February, earning four consecutive wins.

Alani Gallagher led Saint Leo's offense with 13 points. Gina Brierley grabbed five rebounds to lead the Lions off the glass.

1Q | Eckerd opened with a 8-0 run to welcome the Lions to McArthur Center. Alani Gallagher put up two for Saint Leo from the charity stripe. Delaney Bernard scored the Lions' first bucket at 6:25, 10-4. Gallagher earned her fifth point with a three-pointer, 13-7. 2Q | At 6:57, the Tritons' good jumper marked the first points of the second quarter. Eckerd extended its lead with a good three and layup. Gallagher found the basket again for Saint Leo's 12^th point. Mary Redmond's drive moved the scoreboard to 32-14 at 2:45. Hooks' deep toss bounced off the rim and landed in the basket, 34-17.
