SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo men's basketball dropped an 80-67 decision to Rollins inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center Saturday to cap off games in the year 2018.Â
Despite four players scoring in double-figures, Saint Leo (4-8, 1-3 SSC) fell to Rollins (8-4, 2-2 SSC) Saturday afternoon.
Isaiah Hill paced the Lions with 14 points, eight rebounds, six assists and two steals. Joining Hill in double-digits were
Junior Searcy with 13 points,
Daniel Duarte with 12 points and
Kyran McClure with 11 points.

Rollins saw four players in double-figures as well led by Hutton Yenor with a game-high 17 points off the bench. Jakobi Bonner added 16 points while Connor McKim chipped in with 14 and Trevor Recio added 11.
How It Happened
- The start of the game went back-and-forth with both teams taking a lead heading to the 12:50 mark when Connor McKim drained a three-pointer to put the Tars ahead by six. The Lions rallied to cut it back to four on a Junior Searcy dunk before Rollins pushed it back to double-digits and ended up extending its lead to 19 heading into the break, 39-20.
- Rollins continued to push the lead before the Lions rally cut it to 10 points, 71-61, with 2:39 to play but couldn't overcome the pressure.
- Down the stretch, Saint Leo went 7-of-9 from the field in the final five minutes to close out the game, bringing the contest to its final, 80-67 finished off with a Kyran McClure layup.
