Saint Leo (5-4) held Webber (4-6) to under 20-percent from the field in both the second and third quarters to break away.
Casey Wortley led the Lions with 19 points, nine rebounds and one block.
Gina Brierley helped with nine points, 10 rebounds and a steal.

How It Happened
- Webber closed a five-point Saint Leo lead to 15-15 with 1:22 remaining in the first quarter off a three-pointer by Briana Williams. The first ten minutes closed with both teams claiming 18Â points.
- Saint Leo forced a Webber turnover and grabbed three-straight defensive rebounds to shut down the Warriors' offense. The Lions capitalized, going on a a ten-point run on the other end of the court. The Green & Gold broke away for a 33-27 halftime advantage.
- In the third period, Casey Wortley scored 6-of-10 Saint Leo points. Meanwhile, Alani Gallagher grabbed four rebounds in the team's 11 snags over the Warriors six off the glass.
- Webber's shooting percentage increased to 35-percent to keep the Lions' on their heels. Both teams put up 19 points in the fourth. Saint Leo closed out the game with 32 points from the bench and out rebounding Webber 45-36.

Saint Leo will fit in two more games before celebrating the Christmas Holiday. Saint Leo will face Johnson C. Smith on Tuesday, Dec. 18 at 1 p.m. and Shaw on Wednesday, Dec. 19 at 12 p.m. as part of the Lynn University Holiday Classic.
