Women's Basketball Notes
Saint Leo

• Saint Leo suffered an 87-85 overtime loss to Nova Southeastern in the Bowman Center on Saturday, Dec. 8. Four Lions scored in double digits led by Casey Wortley with 21 points followed by Gina Brierley and Alani Gallagher with 18 points and Olivia Lough with career-high 11-points.
• On the season, Wortley averages 12.9 PPG, 5.6 RPG shooting 50-percent from the floor. In addition, she has racked up 18 blocks and eight steals.
• Brierley enters the game with a team-high 34 assists, averaging 9.9 PPG, shooting 41.8 percent from the field.
• Gallagher averages 6.3 RPG, 9.0 PPG, while shooting 42.4 percent from the floor.

Webber International

• Webber International visits Saint Leo after taking a 78-54 exhibition loss at Lynn on Wednesday. In addition to the Fighting Knights, the Warriors have faced Jacksonville, Rollins, Florida Tech and Stetson in exhibition action.
• On Wednesday at Lynn, Taniya Patrick led Webber International in both scoring and rebounding with 14 points, seven rebounds.
• On the season, Patrick averages 12.8 PPG, 8.4 RPG, shooting 51 percent from the field. She has not taken a shot from beyond the arc.
• Electra Graham, Briana Williams and Montrese Weller have kept the arc busy. Williams leads the outside attack with 17 3-pointers, averaging 9.6 PPG. Graham has sunk 15, averaging 9.8 PPG and Weller has hit 16 threes while averaging 9.1 PPG.

The Matchup: Last meeting on Friday, November 15, 2013 in the Marion Bowman Center, Saint Leo defeated the Warriors 85-69.

Swimming Notes

• Saint Leo heads to Clearwater, Fla., this weekend to compete in the Spartan Invite hosted by the University of Tampa.
• Last season, the men's 200 medley relay set a program record at the UT Spartan Invite as the quartet clocked in at 1:29.40.
• The women saw a pair of program records fall last season at this event as both the 100 butterfly and 100 breaststroke marks were broken.  
• The Saint Leo men are currently ranked eighth in the most recent CSCAA TYR Top 25 Dual Meet Swimming and Diving Poll while the women are holding at 22^nd.
