Men's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo enters the weekend at 0-2, following the opening GSC vs SSC Challenge weekend in Tampa (Nov. 10-11).
- The Lions saw Isaiah Hill pace the team with 23 points in two games for 11.5 points per game average. Tyler Carter is the team leader in rebounds following two games with 12 on the year, 6.0 per game. Kyran McClure is the team leader in assists with 10 total, 5.0 per game, while averaging 10 ppg.
- Saint Leo fell to Alabama-Huntsville 69-57 to open the season before falling to Montevallo 74-66 on Nov. 11
- Both games saw the Green and Gold leading at halftime but dropped both contests in the second half.
- Tampa (2-0), No. 9 West Florida (2-0), Auburn-Montgomery (1-1)
- The Spartans enter after a 63-61 win over Montevallo and a 63-56 win over Alabama-Huntsville.

Swimming Notes
- Saint Leo heads to Tampa after being ranked the eighth team in the nation, on the men's side, and 22nd on the women's side by the College Swimming & Diving Coaches Association of America (CSCAA)
- The Lions enter the weekend with a perfect record, with the men's team at 3-0 and the women's squad at 4-0.
- In their last outing, the Lions defeat Rollins 2-0 with scores of 164.5-97.5 (W) and 190-72 (M).

Women's Basketball Notes
- Montevallo opened the season 2-0 defeating Spring Hill (87-76) and Tuskegee (71-65, OT). Before facing the Lions, the Falcons play the Sharks at Nova Southeastern on Thursday, Nov. 15 at 4:30 p.m.
- Montevallo outscored Spring Hill in three of four quarters led by Nautika Philpot with 24 points. Kourtnie Smith snagged 12 rebounds in the opening victory. Against the Golden Tigers, Philpot continued to lead the Falcons with 17 points, while Smith grabbed a team-high 10 rebounds in the overtime thriller.
- Philpot enters the week shooting 51.9 FG% (14-27), 45.5 3FG% (5-11) and 88.9 FT% (8-9).
- Smith has earned nine offensive rebounds and 13 defensive rebounds, for an average of 11 per game. In addition, she has earned seven steals.
- Saint Leo holds a 1-1 overall record after hosting the GSC/SSC Challenge. Saint Leo opened the season with a 62-43 victory over Shorter followed by a 71-50 loss to Lee.
- Gina Brierley scored 20 points against Shorter going 7-for-12 FG, 5-for-8 3FG and 1-2 FT. She enters the weekend averaging 10 points per game, obtaining a 43.8 FG% (7-16), 50 3FG% (5-10).
- Casey Wortley leads the Lions in scoring and rebounding. She averages 10.5 points per game. Wortley put up a 46.7 FG% (7-15) in the opening weekend, along with a 42.9 3FG% (3-7) and 66.7 FT% (4-6).
