Lions’ pair of goals fall short against No. 19 Barry

MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team fell 4-2 at No. 19 Barry on Saturday.

Freshman midfielder, Noah Nixon, scored his first collegiate goal in the 7th minute to answer the Bucs early lead. Barry snuck in two more goals before the half. A red card issued to Barry in the 42nd minute handed the Green and Gold a man-up situation for the second stanza. Senior defender, Yuga Yanagisawa, converted a penalty kick to close the gap, 3-2.  Despite the efforts, Barry ensured the decision at the 89th minute mark with the go-ahead goal.
