Women's Basketball Notes

• Both programs look to snap a two-game losing skid on Wednesday.
• Saint Leo's Gina Brierley's 24-point career day at Barry wasn't enough to lift the Lions over the Barry Buccaneers (72-54) on Wednesday, Jan. 3. Following the conference loss, Saint Leo enjoyed the scheduled bye week.
• Off the boards, Alani Gallagher grabbed five rebounds at Barry supported by Brierley, Madelin Lang and Ragen Dotson with four apiece. Gallagher and Nikira Hooks enter the Wednesday's SSC showdown as Saint Leo's leading rebounders, averaging 5.3 per game.
• On Saturday, Jan. 6 the Panthers suffered a last second loss (72-70) to Barry in FIT's 0-2 week. Tanease Richardson featured 20-points, scoring more than double her season average of 8.2 points per game. DeLise Williams enters the contest as the Panther's leading scorer, averaging 12.2 points per game.
• Kailyn Ebb, averaging 6.4 rebounds per game, is the force inside the paint for the visitors.

Men's Basketball Notes

• Saint Leo returns to action after its most recent setback at No. 7 Barry on Jan. 3, 79-63.
• The Lions fell to 8-10 overall and 4-3 in the SSC and will look to top Florida Tech on Jan. 10 to improve their record.
• Senior Tyreece Brice paces the team on offense with 11.6 points per game while he has a total of 72 rebounds, 76 assists and 32 steals.
• A trio of players all average 11.4 points per game in Isaiah Hill, DeAndre King and Junior Searcy. Hill leads the team in rebounding with 4.9 per game while he is second in assists (61) and is the leader in steals (44).
• Florida Tech enters after an upset of then-No.7 Barry 96-83 in Miami Shores on Jan. 6 to move to 7-8 overall and 2-5 in SSC play on the year.
• The Panthers see two players average 20+ points per game in Sam Daniel (26.9 ppg) and Jordan Majors (20.7). Two other players join the high-scoring duo in double-figures as Patrick Anderson averages 12.7 ppg and Richard Coil averages 12.6 ppg.
• Coli and Daniel are the team leaders in rebounding with 9.6 boards per game and 7.4, respectively.
