Women's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo closed out last week in comeback fashion as the Lions topped Palm Beach Atlantic 57-47 in the Marion Bowman Activities Center. The SSC win snapped the program's five-game losing skid led by Nikira Hooks' 18-point game, helped by Alani Gallagher's double double.
- Hooks is coming in hot after sinking 6-of-9 (.667) shots on Saturday, 5-of-7 (.714) around the arch.
- Gallagher scored 14 points, grabbed 11 rebounds in the victory, her first collegiate double double.
- Florida Southern is defending a seven-game winning streak. Last week, the Mocs defeated Tampa (57-44) and Nova Southeastern (94-76). Florida Southern is currently seeded first among SSC opponents and ranked fourth in the South Region.
- Anja Fuchs-Robetin leads the Mocs scoring and rebounding, just shy of double double average. She enters the mid-week contest averaging 19.3 points, 9.9 rebounds per game.
- Two other shooters average double figures for the Mocs; Camille Giardina (17.4) and Jensen Blassage (14.6). Blassage also tops Florida Southern's play maker charts, averaging 3.8 assists per game.

Men's Basketball Notes
- The Lions, who hold a 1-0 season series record over the Moccasins, enter after a 76-75 overtime win over Palm Beach Atlantic on January 20.
- Saint Leo holds a 9-13, 5-6 SSC record as Florida Southern stands at 11-8, 5-6 SSC.
- In the win over the Sailfish, the Lions were led by DeAndre King who scored a game-high 24 points on 9-of-19 shooting from the field. King added a 5-for-9 mark from downtown while hauling in nine total rebounds (4 offensive and 5 defensive). Junior Searcy joined King in double-figures with 17 points, six rebounds, two blocks and one assist. Isaiah Hill and Kyran McClure both turned in 9 point-6 rebound- 5 assists performance while Hill edged McClure in steals, 2-to-1.
- McClure's 2-for-2 mark from the free throw line were the game-tying and game-winning free throws in overtime as the Lions held the Sailfish from scoring.
- On the year, Junior Searcy has edged out DeAndre King in scoring per game at 12.1 to 12.0. Isaiah Hill joins the duo in double-figures with 11.8 points per game while he leads the team with 4.9 rebounds per game. Hill is the team leader in assists, 81 and steals with 49. Pape Ngom paces the team in blocks with 19, three ahead of Hill and Searcy.
- Florida Southern is riding a two-game win streak with wins over Tampa (104-94) and Nova Southeastern (99-77). In the win over the Sharks, the Mocs saw five players score in double-figures led by Brett Hanson with 24 points.
- On the season, Jonathan Lawton, who turned in 16 points in Saturday's win, leads the team in scoring with 20.4 points per game. Hanson is second on the team and rounds out the double-digit scorers with 17.4 ppg. Hanson is second on the team in rebounding with 7.2 rebounds per game while Jack Rauch is the leader at 7.5 rpg.
