SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men and women's swimming teams claimed a first place finish in every event on Saturday against Rollins. The women's team defeated Rollins, 206-54.
Natalia Garriock earned first place marks in all three events raced; 400 Yard Individual Medley (4:39.97), 100 Yard Freestyle (53.04), and the 50 Yard Butterfly (25.44).
Cecille Holten took the 50 Yard Breaststroke in 29.53 seconds and 100 Yard Breaststroke in 1:05.16.
Sidney Martin posted an impressive 5:20.63 final time in the 500 Yard Freestyle.
Zofia Pilarska and
Mackenzie Wallace occupied the top two finishes in the 100 Yard Butterfly. Pilarska finished with a time of 1:01.16 followed by Wallace at 1:03.48.
To wrap up the day, 200 Yard Freestyle Relay squad made up of
Annie Lindstrom,
Zofia Pilarska, Cecille Holten, and
Sidney Martin tallied a 1:39.94 first place finish.
The Lions return to action on Friday, January 26 to host Tampa at 3:00 p.m. during Saint Leo's senior day.
