Sering Earns Bronze in during day three of the SSC Championships

CLEARWATER, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's and women's swimming teams competed in day three of of the 2023 Sunshine State Conference Championships Friday.

The session featured the 100 fly, 400 IM, 200 free, and 400 medley relay.

Isabelle Sering had the top finish for the Lions during day three of the SSC Championships taking bronze in the 100 fly with her time of 54.75.

On the women's side Vanda Voroshazy would earn a top five finish in the 400 IM with her time of 4:27.42.

For the men, Vino Viallon would place top five in the 100 fly, touching the wall at 48.33. Lucas Minuer earned himself a ninth-place finish in the 400 IM at 3:57.49. Devin Green would earn a top ten finish in the 200 free touching the wall at 1:38.71.

The quartet of Romane Cayla, Elze Bielskute, Voroshazy, and Sering earned a top ten finish in the 400 medley relay for the Lions touching the wall sixth at 3:50.56.

Nino Viallon, Carlos Nava, Lamar Rodov, and Szymon Leszega earned seventh in the 400 medley relay with their time of 3:22.11.

The competition will resume tomorrow with prelims at 10:00 am, followed by finals at 6:00 pm. Fans can watch live on sunshinestateconference.tv and follow live scoring through the MeetMobile App.
