Women's Basketball Notes
- Both program's suffered a stop to their winning streaks last week. Lynn ended Saint Leo's six-game streak (67-52) while Barry dropped an eight-game streak to Nova Southeastern (86-76).
- Ragen Dotson continues to score double figures for the Lions. Dotson tallied 15 points against Lynn. She faces Barry averaging 13.6 point a game shooting a .373 percent from the field.
- Alani Gallagher showcased a 10 point, 8 rebound performance against Lynn. She faces the Buccaneers averaging 6.8 points per game, 5.3 rebounds a game.
- The Buccaneers offense is led by Kiara Palmer, averaging 15.8 points per game. She is supported by teammates Barbara Cousino (14.7) and Ida Andersson (10.6) also scoring double figures on the season.
- On Dec. 20, Palmer earned the title of SSC Defensive Player of the Week for her work off the glass. She enters the game averaging 10.9 rebounds per game.

Men's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo enters the New Year with an 8-9 record and a 4-2 mark in the Sunshine State Conference looking to win its ninth game of the year.
- The Lions look to rebound off an 82-66 setback to No. 19 Southern New Hampshire when they face No. 7 Barry at approximately 7:30 p.m.
- Junior Searcy leads the team in scoring with 12.0 points per game (ppg) on 48.2% shooting from the field (66-137). Searcy averages 4.5 rebounds per game.
- Isaiah Hill (11.5 ppg), Tyreece Brice (11.3 ppg) and DeAndre King (11.2 ppg) all round out the Lions' double-digit scorers. Hill leads the team in rebounding with 5.1 rpg where he is the team leader in steals with 43.
- Barry enters with a 9-1 record while holding a 5-0 mark in the SSC. Elvar Fridriksson leads the team with 21.2 ppg with 70 total assists on the year.
- Sawyer Glock (15.0 ppg), Sunday Dech (14.1 ppg) and Johannes Dolven (10.8 ppg) round out the Buccaneers' top scorers where Daniel Mortensen averages 12.4 points in seven games played.
- The Bucs see Mortensen hold a slight edge in rebounding at 7.4 rpg, ahead of Dech (6.4 rpg) and Dolven (6.1 rpg).
