Panthers cruise past women’s basketball, 85-52

SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo women's basketball dropped an 85-52 decision to the Florida Tech Panthers on Wednesday, January 10 inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center.

The visiting Panther's hot handed day, shooting .501 percent was too much for Saint Leo. Mary Redmond led the Lions with 15 points where Alani Gallagher posted 14 points and four rebounds.

Head Coach Anthony Crocitto commented, "Alani Gallagher was awesome at times. She is doing more of what we ask; running the floor, hitting short jumpers and driving the basketball. We need her to be more aggressive and continue to grow."

Crocitto continued, "While Mary Redmond got going a little bit tonight, we need to help her find the proper flow on the offensive end."

"I admire our fight in the first and third quarters but we need to bring a better product to the court in order to compete in the Sunshine State Conference," concluded Crocitto.
