WEST PALM BEACH, Fla. – Saint Leo women's soccer picked up an early goal from sophomore Kirsten Cleveland and got a solid defensive performance on its way to a 2-0 triumph over Palm Beach Atlantic, in a Sunshine State Conference women's soccer matchup on Wednesday at Rinker Athletic Campus.

• Saint Leo picked up the SSC victory to even its conference mark at 1-1. The win also vaulted the Lions into a tie for fourth place in the SSC standings.
• Palm Beach Atlantic outshot Saint Leo, 8-6, with a 4-3 advantage in shots on goal. The Sailfish also had two corner kick opportunities to the Lions' one.
• Keeper Julia Ortiz played all 90 minutes in goal for Saint Leo, recording four saves on her way to the clean sheet. The shutout is the second of her career.
