Men's Basketball Notes
- Saint Leo enters with a 7-6 mark and a 3-1 record in the SSC. The Lions are coming off their most recent win over Edward Waters on Dec. 6 where the Green and Gold won 82-64 inside the Marion Bowman Activities Center. On the road this season, the Lions are 2-3 and 1-1 in SSC games.
- Junior Searcy paced the Lions over the Tigers on Wednesday with 17 points where DeAndre King (12), Jesse Huff (10) and Kyran McClure (10) all joined him in double-figures. Drago Popovic tallied nine points while snagging a game-high and career-high 13 rebounds.
- On the year, Searcy edges out King for the lead in scoring 12.3 points per game to 12.2 ppg. Isaiah Hill is third on the team at 11.4, tied with Tyreece Brice. Hill is the team leader in rebounding with 5.4 per game where he leads the team in total steals with 32 and blocks with 13. Brice is the team leader in assists with 66 and is second in steals with 24.
- ROLLINS enters at 7-3 and 3-1 SSC and on a two-game win streak. The Tars most recent win was a non-conference win over Warner, 87-57 on Dec. 5. Rollins last SSC contest was Dec. 2 when the Tars fell 103-91 to Barry in Miami Shores.
- Five Rollins players average double-figures led by Sam Philpott, with 21.1 ppg. Deion Clark and Jeff Merton tie for the team lead in rebounds with 5.0 rebounds per game where Connor Mckim paces the team with 4.9 assists per game.

Women's Basketball Notes
- The Lions head to #8 Rollins after earning a pair of wins (Palm Beach Atlantic 54-46, Ave Maria 65-56). On Saturday, Dec. 2, Rollins was upset at Barry (78-60), being handed its first loss of the season.
- Gina Brierley and Alani Gallagher set back onto the hardwood after each scoring 14 points on Tuesday against Ave Maria. Off the boards, Gallagher and Hooks led the Lions with 9 apiece.
- On the season, Saint Leo enters the game shooting 37.1% from the field, 29.6% from three-point range, 66.2% in free throws.
- Ragen Dotson continues to lead the Lions offense after 9 games played shooting 33.3%, scoring 11.0 points per game.
- Rollins enters the contest shooting 44.9% from the floor, 33.3% in threes, 70.1% on the line. Denise Daniel leads the offense, averaging 13.1 points per game, shooting 46.5%. In addition to Daniel's double figure scoring average, Julia Ingler averages 11.6 points per game, shooting 45.8%.
- Tars' Carly McClendon was awarded her second Sunshine State Conference Defensive Player of the Week honor on Monday, Dec. 4 after a work week tallying 15 rebounds, 7 blocks and 3 steals. She currently leads the conference in rebounding, averaging 9.6 per game, 77 total.
