That early lead lasted until the final buzzer and the Lions posting a 65-56 win over Ave Maria on Tuesday, December 5. The non-conference win raises Saint Leo's record to 3-6 overall. Ave Maria's record remains at 10-0 as the contest was an exhibition competition for the Gyrenes.
