The Panthers wouldn't go down easy as they charged back and forced a Saint Leo timeout shy of the Lions' lead, 19-16. FIT would continue to push and tie things at 20-20 before the two teams would play even, trading the lead, before
Britt Sederholm and
Annabella Arcari would notch back-to-back kills to put the first set in the Lions' corner 28-26.

Dallas Jasper,
Victoria Omoregie and
Nina Vattovaz. The Panthers would score their first point of the set out of the timeout, before the Lions would continue to roll and push their lead to 10, 15-5, and hold an 18-8 lead at the final Florida Tech timeout. Despite the Panthers outscoring the Lions 7-6 over the final 13 points, the Lions would claim their second set at 25-15.
Saint Leo 25-21 | Out of the break, Saint Leo would pick up where it left off and took a 3-1 lead. The Panthers would claw themselves back into the set, and tie things at 7-7.
