#19 Volleyball Notes
- Saint Leo comes into the week with a 9-1 record and a 4-1 mark in the SSC. The Lions are on a three game win streak after sweeping the week with wins over Tampa (9/26 W 3-0), Barry (9/29 W 3-1), and Nova Southeastern (9/30 W 3-0).
- On the week, Ashley Quero led the attack with 36 kills for 3.60 per set on a .455 clip. Quero added eight digs and three blocks for her week. Anna Garrett led the Lions in assists with 90 total in 193 attempts for a .466 percentage. Jenya Kruglova edged out Britt Sederholm and Reggie Van Devender in digs for the week as Kruglova tallied 31 to Sederholm's 29 and Van Devender's 25.
- On the year, Quero eclipsed the 100 kill mark with 107 through 32 sets played. Garrett leads the team with 333 assists where Jenya Kruglova stands in first on the team in digs with 129. Middle Annabella Arcari has tallied 28 total blocks on the season.
- Eckerd enters the Tuesday night matchup with a 6-3, 2-3 SSC record after serving up Barry in straight sets Sept. 30. The Tritons were led by Paula Hoffmann who notched match-high 16 kills where Fernanda Reis tallied 26 assists. Kaitlyn Sibson led the team with 12 digs on the night.
- On the year, Eckerd is led by Hoffmann who has 124 kills for 4.28 per set in 299 attempts. Reis leads the team as the primary setter with 279 assists where Sibson owns 150 digs on the season.
- SSC STANDINGS: Saint Leo sits in second in the SSC with a 4-1 mark behind Palm Beach Atlantic (7-0), the Lions' lone loss. Eckerd is in fifth at 2-3 tied with Lynn and Nova Southeastern.

Women's Soccer Notes
- Saint Leo enters the game Wednesday after having dropped their last two games 2-1 in OT to Lynn and 4-2 to Florida Tech. The Lions staged a late comeback attempt against the Panthers at home on Sept. 30 before falling 4-2.
- In the loss to Florida Tech, Saint Leo cut the game to 3-2 after a Victoria Covas goal in the 70th minute and a Payton Ruehling goal in the 79th minute. The Panthers answered the Lions goals with a goal in the 80th minute.
- Rosie Young and Brooke Snoll each picked up an assist in the loss as Young assisted Covas and Snoll Ruehling.
- On the year, Covas is the team leader with two goals and four points where Young is the leader with three assists.
- Julia Ortiz has logged all 547:02 minutes in goal for the Lions and has 19 saves.
- Eckerd enters after having dropped their last contest at Lynn 2-1 where Paula Astiazaran scored a goal in the 89th minute to eliminate the shutout by the Fighting Knights. Madison Dilgard was credited with the assist after a rebound in the box.
- On the year, Stephanie Linton leads the Tritons with six goals and 12 points where Astiazaran is second with two goals and two assists.
- Between the posts, Casey Winn has played and started all seven games, logging 620:19 minutes of action with 33 saves.

Men's Soccer Notes
- The Lions step back into SSC play after a non-conference game with West Florida on Sunday, Oct. 1 where a goal in the 89th minute lifted Saint Leo over the Argonauts 1-0.
- Tyler Palmer scored his second goal of the season in the 89th minute off a ball played from Keisuke Ohata to put the Lions ahead in the last minute of regulation.
- Saint Leo enters at 2-5, 1-2 SSC after its non-conference win. Guillaume Campos and Tyler Palmer are tied for the lead in goals with two on the year.
- Conor McElhinney has logged 378:37 minutes between the posts with a 2-2 record and 20 saves. Wessel Berenschot has played 270 minutes and has a 0-3 record with eight saves.
- Eckerd enters at 3-4, 1-3 SSC after almost upsetting No. 5 Lynn in St. Petersburg with a 3-2 loss to the Fighting Knights. The Tritons were up 2-1 before two late goals, one in the 82nd minute and one in the 87th minute, lifted the Fighting Knights past the Tritons. TJ Soehn and Westleigh Rush were credited with the goals.
- On the year, Juan David Tejada and Robert Labus lead the team with four goals apiece. Niklas Sommerer has tallied three assists to lead the Tritons.
- Alex Gott has started and played all seven games with 611:11 minutes logged between the two upright posts with 32 saves on the year.
