Men's soccer ends season with a 3-0 setback to Tampa

SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo men's soccer team dropped their season finale to Tampa, 3-0, in Sunshine State Conference play at University Soccer Field Wednesday.
 
The Lions saw Brian Werchek and Bryce Wilson pace the offense with three shots each where Wilson put all three on frame. Conor McElhinney got the nod in goal for his final game where he played the full 90 minutes with six saves.

| After a tackle in the box, Lewis Sugden buried the penalty kick past the Lions keeper for the first goal of the game. | Tampa 1-0 |

  • Saint Leo ripped off 10 shots on the night where senior Bryce Wilson landed the lone three on frame.
  • The Green and Gold defense forced the Spartans to be offside 14 times to the Lions one.
