MIAMI SHORES, Fla. – Barry University scored once in each half and went on to post a 2-0 win over visiting Saint Leo, in a Sunshine State Conference women's soccer match Saturday night at Buccaneer Field.
Saint Leo recorded two total shots against Barry's 21, with the Buccaneers earning 11 corner kick opportunities to the Lions' five. The Lions recorded their final shot of the game in the 49th minute, an attempt by
Maria Miller that was blocked.

For the Opponent – Barry
- Barry keeper Melanie Ziegner played all 90 minutes for the Buccaneers, but did not receive credit for a save.
- Molly Sharpe paced Barry with five total shots, however both Stow and Grimshaw logged two shots on goal each.
- With Saturday night's win, Barry was assured at least a share of second place in the SSC standings with games remaining against Florida Southern and Eckerd.
