Early goals haunt Women's Soccer at Lenoir-Rhyne

HICKORY, N.C. – Two early goals haunted the Saint Leo women's soccer team as the Lenoir-Rhyne Bears scored two goals in the first 13 minutes of the contest. A goal by Sophia Kenny in the 72nd minute cut the lead where the Lions fell 2-1 at Lenoir-Rhyne. 

Lenoir-Rhyne out shot the Lions in the first half 10-4 before the Green and Gold ripped off seven in the second half. Sofie Haellsten led the charge with three shots, two on frame, where Payton Ruehling and Kenny were tied for second with two shots each.
