SAINT LEO, Fla. -- The Saint Leo women's volleyball team notched its fourth consecutive victory Saturday in a three set sweep over visiting Lynn University. The Lions have now won 12-straight sets in the Marion Bowman Activities Center.

How It Happened
- Britt Sederholm led the match with 10 kills, 12 digs and three aces. Fellow pinhitters Hope Lemon and Anna Siruckova combined for 14 kills. Lemon notched eight kills and eight digs while Siruckova tallied six kills and four digs.
- Katie Adamson collected six kills from the middle, and a team high three blocks. Jillian Stolzenburg added two kills.
- Setter Ashlee Hodgskin dished out 29 assists, and libero Jamee Townsend sprawled for a match high 15 digs. Townsend now has 239 digs on the season.
- Set 1 | The Lions offense picked up right where it left off Friday night and opened the first frame with a stifling .306 attack percentage. The Lions collected 15 kills on 36 attempts, besting their season average of 13.59 kills per set. Lemon hit .385 in the first set, putting down six kills on 13 swings with just one error. Saint Leo jumped to an early 5-0 lead and never looked back. The Lions led by as many nine, and never trailed the Knights. At 13-10, Townsend took the service line rattled off six points, thanks to kills from Lemon and Adamson. Lions attack stalled the set win, but Saint Leo eventually took the set 25-17.
- Set 2 | In the second frame, serve receive hindered the Lions offense. The Lions were only able to produce 10 kills, and four blocks by the Knights added to four Lions errors.
- Set 3 | The Lions only trailed once in the third frame, but its brief moment down didn't hinder Saint Leo. The Lions collected 10 kills and 13 digs. Saint Leo won the final set 25-19.

"Our crowd makes a big difference in our gym. I love the support and they give us needed momentum. We had a great crowd today, especially on a Saturday afternoon, 400 people packed in the gym is what we need every match."
"Serve receivae broke down in the second set and we made a lot of hitting errors which is uncharacteristic. At the break, we talked about our errors and we have to make better hitting decisions."
"Today's win will help us get a pretty good seed at the crossover. We want to play the top teams in the GSC so we can strengthen our schedule. It's been great to win these past four matches."

- Sederholm has turned in three straight double-digit kill performances. The sophomore has collected 10 kills in each of the last three sets. Sederholm's double-double was her fifth of the season. Sederholm has had nine double-digit dig performances.
For the Knights
- Claire Angelich, who ranks second in the SSC in blocks, led the match with five block assists. Cleuza Porto collected seven kills for the Knights while Lydia West and Cristina Llorens each added six kills.
- Marissa Tandron tallied 27 assists, and Katie Knight notched 11 digs.
- The Knights hit .125 as a team and notched eight blocks.

- The Lions will travel to Carrollton, Ga. and the campus of West Georgia for the South Region Crossover. The Sunshine State Conference will go up against schools from the Gulf South Conference in a preview of what could be the NCAA South Region field. The Lions will play Friday Oct. 16 and Sat. Oct. 17. The match-ups will be set by Wednesday, Oct. 13.
