Noel Maurin was named Saint Leo University's new Head Coach for the Men's and Women's Tennis programs in the Summer of 2026.
Maurin arrived at Saint Leo after spending the past four years at Eastern Kentucky University (EKU), where he most recently served as Associate Head Coach for the Colonels' men's and women's tennis programs. During his tenure, he played an instrumental role in elevating both programs through player development, recruiting, academic success, and competitive achievement.
At EKU, Maurin helped guide the men's program to unprecedented success, including the program's first national ranking, first nationally ranked victory, an appearance in the 2024 National Invitational Tennis Championship (NIT), and an undefeated 16-0 home regular season. His student-athletes earned multiple ASUN Conference Player of the Week honors, All-ASUN recognition, Freshman of the Year accolades, and Academic Team of the Year honors.
In addition to his on-court success, Maurin was heavily involved in all aspects of the program, including recruiting, practice planning, tournament operations, video analysis, community engagement, camps and clinics, and individualized player development.
Prior to EKU, Maurin spent three seasons at the University of Texas at Tyler, serving as both a graduate assistant and assistant coach. During his time with the Patriots, he helped lead the men's team to the 2022 Lone Star Conference Championship and an appearance in the NCAA Division II Round of 16 while contributing to nationally recognized academic success for both programs.
Maurin earned a Master of Exercise Science in Sport Administration from Eastern Kentucky University in 2023 after completing a Master of Business Administration at UT Tyler in 2021. He received his bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Ottawa University Arizona in 2019, where he was also a collegiate tennis student-athlete.
