Jess Myers joined the Saint Leo Sports Medicine staff in 2021 as an assistant athletic trainer and was appointed Director of Sports Medicine in January 2024. She currently works with men and women's basketball, acro and tumbling, and men's soccer. 

Myers came to Saint Leo from Frostburg, Maryland. She worked at Frostburg State University from 2020-2021 as an Intern Athletic Trainer. At Frostburg, she was responsible for overseeing men's basketball, softball, and men and women's tennis. 

Myers obtained her master's in athletic training in 2020 from Shenandoah University located in Virginia. She had the opportunity to work with an array of athletes at the DI and DIII collegiate level, as well as at the high school level. 

In 2018, Myers graduated with a bachelor's in kinesiology from the University of Illinois at Chicago where she was also a collegiate gymnast. 

Myers currently resides in Tampa with her pup, Evie.
