AS A FRESHMAN (2010-11)
Thompson swam in each of the Lions 10 events…Primarily competed in Free and Butterfly competitions… Recorded teams second-fastest 1000 Free (10:39.14) at the Sunshine State Conference Championships (02/17/11)…Registered this season’s third fastest time in the 200 Free (1:50.70) at Nova Southeastern (1/22/11) and third-fastest time in the 500 Free (5:13.82) at the Turkey Invitational (11/17/10).

CAREER
At South Lake HS Nolan was awarded Cum Ladi and Magna Cum Ladi honors…He was also the recipient of the Good Citizenship Award

PERSONAL
Born June 6 in Ocala, Fla…Business Major…His hobbies include going to the beach and hanging out with friends…Career goal is to one day become a lawyer…Believes his work ethic is his best asset to the team…Names Michael Phelps as his favorite athlete…Lists the Jacksonville Jaguars as his favorite team…He chose Saint Leo because it’s a small school and has a great swim program…Son of Tarn Thompson and Cid Kent. Nolan’s father Tarn Thompson swam for the University of Pennsylvania from 1971 to 1975…His aunt Tammie Thompson was inducted into the Boston College Hall of Fame for soccer and lacrosse in 1985.
