2016 CoSIDA First Team Academic All-America selection… 2016 CSCAA First Team All-America individual honors in the 50 Free and 100 Free, and in the 200 Free Relay, 400 Free Relay, and 800 Free Relay events… Honorable Mention All-American in 200 Medley Relay and 100 Butterfly… finished third at NCAA Championships in 50 Free with Saint Leo record time of 19.71... was fifth in 100 Free with Saint Leo record time of 43.43… also set new Saint Leo record in 200 Free at NCAA meet with time of 1:37.55… member of Saint Leo record squads in 200 Medley Relay (1:29.62; Pawel Trenda, Evan Jacob, Matheus Assis, Hunter Bains), 200 Free Relay (1:20.47; Matheus Assis, Evan Jacob, Pawel Trenda, Hunter Bains), and 400 Free Relay (2:57.78; Pawel Trenda, Matheus Assis, Evan Jacob, Hunter Bains)… Second Team All-SSC selection at Sunshine State Conference Championship... AS A JUNIOR (2014-15)
2014-15 Capital One Men's At-Large Second Team Academic All-America... Second Team All-SSC... Competed in 10 meets this season including NCAA National Championships... At NCAAs broke his own school record in 50 Free with a time of 19.93 (4th in nation) and was part of school record breaking 200 Medley Relay with time of 1:29.82 (10th in nation)... Finished 11th in nation in 100 Free... Finished top 16 in nation in 100 Fly. Member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2014 & Spring 2015.
AS A SOPHOMORE (2013-14)
Competed in eleven meets this season... Named SSC Swimmer of the Week twice... Named National Swimmer of the Week once... Selected to swim at the NCAA National Championship meet... Was a member of two top-10 finishing relay squads (200 free relay and 400 free relay)... Finished 5th at the NCAA National Championship in the 100 fly. Broke individual school records in the 50 free, 100 free, and 100 fly; as well as the 200 medley relay. Member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2013 & Spring 2014.
AS A FRESHMAN (2012-13)
Competed in ten meets... Qualified for the NCAA Championship meet... Awarded SSC swimmer of the week twice... Named to the SSC All-Conference Men's Swimming Team... Named to the Scholar All-America Team... Helped set a new school and conference recored in the 200 free relay at the NCAA Championship meet with a time of 1:20.63. Member of Saint Leo University President's Club Spring 2013.
