Payton Armstrong joined the Saint Leo men's and women's swimming coaching staff in the Fall of 2021. She most recently was a swimming student-athlete at Alfred State College.
Armstrong was a four-year member of the Alfred State women’s swimming team in Alfred, N.Y. She served as a team captain her senior season and was a two-year member of the Alfred State SAAC. She was selected her senior year to represent Alfred State on the Allegheny Mountain Collegiate Conference (AMCC) Student-Athlete Advisory Committee. In the pool she was a two-time First Team All-Conference selection earning both honors in 2020 in the 100 and 200 backstroke.

Armstrong graduated from Alfred State College in the spring of 2021 with a degree in sport management.
