Biography

AS A SENIOR (2015)
Competed in six events during his senior campaign… among Saint Leo’s top five finishers at the Florida State Invitational 8K (10/2) when he finished 72nd with a time of 28:23.10… posted a time of 28:15.50 at the Sunshine State Conference Championship (10/24), crossing the line 41st overall… had a solid outing at the UF Mountain Dew Invitational (9/19), recording a time of 28:35.20 and placing 105th.

AS A SOPHOMORE (2013)
Competed in five races this season for the Lion's... Broke a personal best in the 8K at the Sunshine State Cross Country Championships with a finish of 28:27. 

AS A FRESHMAN (2012)
Made a large impact as a freshman... Competed in all eight of the Lions' races... Ran a personal best 8K time of 29:16.50 at the UF Invite.

CAREER
Attended Wesley Chapel HS…Competed in varsity track and field for three years…Ran varsity cross country for two seasons…Received 2011 and 2012 ‘Most Outstanding Distance Runner’ accolades…Named 2012 track and field and cross country Team MVP…Posted a personal-best time in the 5K of 18:18.

Born October 25 in Pennsylvania…Sport Business major… Hobbies include running, playing basketball, and spending time with friends and family…Names Bernard Lagat, among others, as his favorite athlete…His goals are to run the New York and Boston Marathon’s… Chose Saint Leo because of the small class size, facilities, and coaching staff… Son of Steve and Liz Brown…Has three sisters, Lacey, Carissa, and Amanda.
