Biography

AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Competed in five events for the Lions during his freshman season… fastest 8K time during the season was a 26:41.07 at the Sunshine State Conference Championship (10/22), where he finished 30th overall… ran in the NCAA Championship (11/19), and posted a 10K time of 35:24.6 and was 232nd overall... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2016. 

CAREER
Attended Cypress Creek HS, where he ran cross country and competed in the two mile, 1600m, and 2000m steeplechase in track… three-time team MVP in cross country as a sophomore (2013), junior (2014), and senior (2015)… team MVP in track as a junior (2015) and senior (2016)… enters Saint Leo with a 5K PR time of 16:42.2… other PRs: 10:02 in the two mile, 4:40 in the 1600m, and 7:22 in the 2000m steeplechase.

PERSONAL
Birthday in June 13… hobbies include running and basketball… favorite athletes are Dwayne Wade, Mo Farah, and Galen Rupp… favorite foods are rice and beans, chicken, and mashed potatoes… son of Carlos and Janet Cabret… has two brothers, Celina and Carlos.
