AS A FRESHMAN (2016)
Competed in four events for the Lions during his freshman campaign… his best time at the 8K distance came at the UF Mountain Dew Invitational (9/24) with a time of 27:52.34, finishing 32nd overall… finished 23rd at the Saint Leo National Preview (10/8) in 28:56.9… ran for the Lions in the NCAA South Region Championship (11/5) and clocked a time of 36:30.4.

CAREER
Four-time high school cross country team captain at Springstead HS… two-time All-County selection (2014 & 2015)… Hernando County Runner of the Year in 2015… holds a 5K personal best time of 16:46.

PERSONAL
Birthday is October 25… favorite teams are the Tampa Bay Lightning, the Tampa Bay Rays, and the Pittsburgh Penguins… favorite foods are Chinese cuisine and any spicy foods… believes his biggest assets to the tem are that he is supportive and encouraging… son of Chris Keister and Vicki Teter… has one brother, John Keister… father Chris Keister ran cross country and then-NAIA member Glenville State College (W.Va.).
