Biography

AS A SENIOR (2015)
Concluded the year with a 13-4 singles tally with an even 3-3 mark in SSC play… Saw play in the third and fourth flights, posting a 5-1 and 5-3 record, respectively… Posted nine wins against nationally ranked teams, including a victory over No. 14 Simone Pratt… Added a 6-5 record in doubles action.

AS A JUNIOR (2014)
Finished the year ranked 24th in the nation in doubles play with Anastasia Wagner... In singles matchups Montoya finished the year with a record of 14-4 overall and 8-3 in Sunshine State Conference play... She played in three seperate singles flights No. 4 (4-0), No. 5 (9-4), and No. 6 (1-0)... Montoya tabbed a record of 10-10 in doubles play with a majority of her matches coming at the No. 1 position... This new member to the Lions squad made an immediate impact on the team, reaching the Final Four of the NCAA Championship Tournament.

Competed at IMG Pendleton School.... Transfer from the University of South Florida.

Born March 2 in Maracay, Venezuala.... Hobbies include dancing, watching movies, and extreme sports... Career goal is to become a fashion designer and a business woman... Names Roger Federer as her favorite athlete... Chose Saint Leo because of the student-first mentality and the campus beauty... Daughter of Juan and Rocio... Has one brother, Alfonso, and two sisters, Melissa and Valeria.
