Soesmann was selected to the CoSIDA/ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second team …Honorable Mention All-Sunshine State Conference…NSCAA Division II All-South Region Third Team … Named SSC Player of The Week once (10/12/2009)…Saint Leo Athlete of The Week once (10/12/2009)…The forward had a strong sophomore year,playing and starting in all 16 games…Soesmann was tied for second on the team in goals with eight, points with 20 and matched her career-high in assists with four…Her biggest offesnive output came against SSC foe Lynn (10/09/09) scoring two goals...She accumulated two game-winning goals over the course of the season,,,She finished 10th in the SSC in total points (20), Seventh in Points-Per-Game (1.25), Ninth in goals (8), and tied for eigth in goals-per-game (0.50)... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2009 and Spring 2010.
AS A FRESHMAN (2008)
Soesemann had a fantastic freshman campaign for the Lions…She led the team with most games played (22), and closed the year with four assists…She was third on the squad in goals scored with 13 and total points with 30…She fired the second most shots on the team during the season (65), while contributing a .492 shot-on-goal percentage and tallied one game-winning goal…Her efforts on the field earned her an NSCAA All-Region First Team selection…She was also named Sunshine State Conference All-Second Team... member of Saint Leo University President's Club Fall 2009 and Spring 2009.

Born July 30 in Berlin, Germany…History & International Studies major…Hobbies include playing sports and spending time with her friends…Her career goals are to play at a higher level of soccer in Germany…Her favorite athlete is Roger Federer and Hertha BSC Berlin is her favorite team…She chose Saint Leo because of its good academic standard and the welcoming feeling of the team and coaches…Daughter of Bernd and Britta Soesemann…Has one brother, Fabian and one sister, Benita.
