SAINT LEO, Fla. – The 14th-ranked Saint Leo Men's Golf team enters the final day of the 2026 NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview in fifth place after carding a 554 (-22) in Monday's two rounds.

The Lions lineup is being led by sophomore Banjamin Morland and freshman Hunter Kinnear, who are tied for third after both golfers carded an impressive 135 (-9). Morland's first round featured five birdies while recording pars on the rest of the holes. Additionally, Kinnear also posted five birdies in the opening round with firing pars on the remainder of the holes.

Freshman Brett Shaw is in a share of 37th with a 143 (-1) while freshman Jack Mast and senior Nicklas Illi are tied for 51st with a 145 (+1). Rounding out the Green & Gold lineup is freshman Paul Liang, who is in a share of 76th with a 154 (+10).
Saint Leo had a few golfers compete as individuals as well. Marshall Bath is tied for 61st with a 147 (+3) while sophomore Grant Sallengs junior Micke Laurelli are in a share of 57th as he fired a 146 (+2) today. Freshman Turner Hersey is tied for 22nd after his strong 140 (-4) today.

The Lions will conclude the Regional Preview, tomorrow, Tuesday, September 29 as they btee off in the final round starting at 8:30 a.m. at Lake Jovita Golf and Country Club.
