GULFPORT, Fla. – During the final round of the Eckerd Invitational, the Saint Leo women's golf team moved up four spots and finished third in the two-day tournament. The Lions registered a score of 913 (+49) for the event and carded the lowest score by a team in the third round with a seven-over.

Leading the Saint Leo lineup was junior Iza Ståhlevi and sophomore Maria Jaime, who each tied for 11th with a 226 (+10). Ståhlevi highlighted her outing with a 70 (-2) in the final round while Jaime fired a 72 (even).

Junior Julia Kret registered a 232 (+16) as she finished in a share of 29th. Freshman Claire Reynolds, who made her collegiate debut tied for 34th with a 234 (+18). Rounding out the Green & Gold lineup was junior Sophia Raab, who tied for 45th with a 237 (+21).

Saint Leo boasted a pair of individuals in the event as well. Freshman Grace Outhavong tied for seventh with an impressive 223(+7) while classmate Luce Ravizza finished in a share of 32nd with a 233 (+17).

Barry claimed the team trophy with a score of 886 (+22) and sported the individual winner in Leonie Sinnhuber with an even score 216.

The Lions return to the links on September 28 as it competes in the opening day of the DBU Women's Classic in Dallas, Texas.
