SAINT LEO, Fla. – Saint Leo head men's golf coach Chris Greenwood has announced the Lions' 2026-27 schedule, featuring nine regular-season tournaments, the Sunshine State Conference Championship, and NCAA postseason competition.
The Lions will open the 2026-27 campaign close to home, competing in the Griffin Invitational on September 14-15 at Mission Resort + Club in Howey-in-the-Hills, Florida. Saint Leo will then host the NCAA South/Southeast Regional Preview on September 28-29 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club in Saint Leo.
The Green & Gold will continue its fall slate with a pair of tournaments in October. The Lions travel to Palm Harbor for the Copperhead Championship at Innisbrook Resort on October 12-13 before heading to Ninety Six, South Carolina, for the Patriot Invitational at The Patriot Golf Course on October 19-20.
Following the fall season, the Lions will return to action in February with the Matlock Invitational on February 8-9 at Lone Palm Golf Club in Lakeland, Florida.
The Green & Gold will then host the Saint Leo Invitational which takes place February 15-16 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club.
The Lions will close out the regular season with a challenging stretch of tournaments throughout Florida and Georgia. Saint Leo travels to Valdosta, Georgia, for the Southeastern Collegiate at Kinderlou Forest Golf Club on March 15-16, followed by the Shark Invitational at Grande Oaks Golf Club in Davie, Florida, on March 22-23.
The regular season concludes April 5-6 at the Battle at the Lakes at Miami Lakes Golf Club in Miami Shores, Florida.
Saint Leo will then turn its attention to postseason competition, beginning with the Sunshine State Conference Championship on April 18-20, hosted by Palm Beach Atlantic.
The Lions will host the NCAA South/Southeast Regional May 6-8 at Lake Jovita Golf & Country Club. Saint Leo will look to take advantage of its home-course familiarity as it competes for a spot in the NCAA National Championship.
The 2027 NCAA National Championship is scheduled for May 17-21 at PGA National Resort in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida.
