ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball saw two pairs earn All-Sunshine State Conference honors in the league's second year of Beach Volleyball. Saint Leo's number one pair of
Thalie Brossard and
Emma Laade earned first team honors and
Erin Johnson and
Paula Perez Rosales were named to the second team. This marks a second straight year of All-SSC honors for Laade and the second year in a row with two pairs recognized.
Brossard and Laade posted an overall record of 12-5 primarily as the number one pair going 8-3 in the top flight. The duo also posted a 4-2 record as the number two pair. Anchoring the middle part of the Lions lineup,
Erin Johnson and
Paula Perez Rosales went 17-5 overall primarily as the number four pair going 14-2. As the number three pairing, Johnson and Perez Rosales went 3-3.
The Lions went 18-5 overall on the season and 4-1 in matches against conference opponents. Saint Leo earned the number three seed for a second straight year and will take on the six-seeded Barry Buccaneers on Friday morning at 10 a.m. at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts.
All-conference pairs and individual award winners are determined by a vote of Sunshine State Conference head coaches with oversight and approval from member institution Athletic Directors.

Co-Freshman of the Year: Ella Pringle, Florida Southern; Peyton Baro, Palm Beach Atlantic
Co-Coach of the Year: Jazz Schmidt, Palm Beach Atlantic; Jeff Lamm, Tampa
