#9 Acrobatics & Tumbling's Season Ends at NCATA Event Finals; Jackson & Westcott Named All-Americans

AZUSA, Calif. – The ninth-ranked Saint Leo University acrobatics & tumbling team closed out its 2026 season at the NCATA National Championships Event Finals on Sunday. The Lions competed in three event finals, the top three pyramid heats (inversion, duo, open) and the tumbling aerial heat. Following the four-day event, Carolyn Jackson and Aizlin Westcott were named NCATA All-American Second Team. Sunday capped off a historic season for the Lions, finishing with a 6-1 record, a top-10 final ranking, four event finals.
 
The Lions were represented across three Pyramid heats and the Tumbling Aerial Pass, continuing to showcase the depth and growth that powered Saint Leo to a national ranking and postseason appearance.

Saint Leo opened the day in Pyramid Inversion, posting an 8.350 before improving in the Synchronized heat with a 9.300. The Lions saved their top Pyramid score for the Open heat, delivering a 9.550 to cap a strong showing in the event finals rotation.

In Tumbling Aerial Pass, Maddox Wreski represented the Green and Gold with a 9.500, highlighting one of the top individual performances of the day for Saint Leo.

The Event Finals appearance served as another milestone moment for the Lions, who continued to establish themselves among the nation's top programs throughout the 2026 season.
