BROOKSVILLE, Fla. - After the second day of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) Women's Golf Championship Tournament, 20th-ranked Saint Leo moved up to fifth overall. During the second day of the 10-team event, the Lions registered a score of 303 (+15).

Freshman McKenzee Sullivan, who is leading the lineup, notched a 76 (+4) during the second round. This marks consecutive 76s for the Florida native. 

Sophomore Iza Stahlevi maintained her share of 13th-place ranking with a 76 (+4) in today's round while freshman Maria Jaime posted a 78 (+6), marking her second 78 of the tournament as she is tied for 26th.

Redshirt senior Maya Cote moved up 16 spots for a share of 31st with a 73 (+1) today. 

Senior Ana Valentina-Guarderas, who is Saint Leo's substitute, recorded a 79 (+7) for her first performance of the Championship. 

The Lions will conclude the SSC Champioship tomorrow, Tuesday, April 14 as they compete in the third round of the tournament.
