BOCA RATON, Fla. – The 21st-ranked Saint Leo women's golf team finished the Lynn Invitational in eighth place after carding a 302 in the third round to bring the Lions total score of a 913 (+49).
The Green & Gold were led by redshirt senior
Maya Cote and sophomore
Iza Stahlevi, who completed the tournament in a share of 32nd. Both Cote and Stahlevi tallied a 230 (+14). Cote opened the two-day event with a 76 followed by a pair of 77s while Stahlevi notched a 79 followed by a 76 and 75.
Freshman
Maria Jaime tied for 45th with a 236 (+20) as she concluded her tournament with a 76. Senior
Ana Valentina-Guarderas tied for 51st with a 238 (+22) while freshman
McKenzee Sullivan posted a 74 in the third round.
The Lions will now enter postseason play as they are set to compete in the first day of the Sunshine State Conference (SSC) tournament, hosted by Eckerd, at the Cabot Citrus Farms in Brooksville, Florida on Sunday, April 12 with a start time of 8 a.m.
