ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. – The Saint Leo University beach volleyball team hit the road for a neutral site match against Missouri State on Friday. The Lions number five pair of
Paige Reeves and
Abby VanBuskirk picked up a three-set win. Saint Leo falls to 12-5 overall while Missouri State improves to 15-1 on the season.
The Bears claimed wins by the even pairs to jump out to an early 2-0 lead. All three odd courts went to three sets with Missouri State's one pair clinching the match victory. Saint Leo's five pair of Reeves and VanBuskirk earned the lone win on the day for the Green & Gold as they rallied from a second set loss to take the third set 17-15.
