SAINT LEO, Fla. – The Saint Leo University beach volleyball team returned to the win column on Tuesday at home. The Lions defeated both St. John's River and Eckerd, 5-0 to improve to 12-4 overall.

Saint Leo opened the day with a dominant 5-0 sweep of St. John's River, winning every completed court in straight sets. Tajma Muharemovic and Caitlyn Kemer (21-17, 21-10) set the tone early at No. 4, followed by Emma Laade and Thalie Brossard (21-9, 21-13) at No. 2. Erin Johnson and Paula Perez Rosales (21-11, 21-10) clinched the match at No. 3 before Paige Reeves and Abby VanBuskirk (21-8, 21-9) added a commanding win at No. 5. Madison Moore and Anna Intagliata (21-16, 21-19) completed the sweep at the top flight.

The Lions carried that momentum into their second match, sweeping Eckerd 5-0 to close out a perfect day at home. Emma Laade and Thalie Brossard (21-13, 21-12) once again provided a strong start at No. 2 before Tajma Muharemovic and Caitlyn Kemer (21-19, 13-21, 21-19) secured the clinching point in a three-set battle at No. 4. Madison Moore and Anna Intagliata (21-10, 21-12) added a dominant win at No. 1, while Paige Reeves and Abby VanBuskirk (22-20, 21-13) earned another straight-set victory at No. 5. Erin Johnson and Paula Perez Rosales (21-17, 21-17) capped the sweep at No. 3.
