ORLANDO, Fla. – Saint Leo University beach volleyball pair, Thalie Brossard and Emma Laade were named the Sunshine State Conference's pair of the week for beach volleyball. The duo led the Lions to a victory over Barry. This is the first weekly honors for the pair in their careers. This honor is the first in program history. 

Laade and Brossard dominated the match against Barry in a 5-0 win over the Buccaneers. The Lions #1 pair conceded just 19 points across two sets, winning 21-13 and 21-6 to clinch the victory.
 
Brossard, Laade and the beach volleyball team are back in action this Saturday. The Lions will host Barry and State College of Florida for a tri-match at the Saint Leo Beach Volleyball Courts.
